You’ve heard it many times. “The purchase of a home is one of the most important decisions you’ll make in your lifetime.” In today’s market, selling a home is equally important—getting the most out of your investment. So whether buying or selling, you want a specialist—a residential specialist. Someone who understands the complexities of the housing market, how to best position your interests, and someone who will get to know you and what you want from the transaction. You want success. You want a Certified Residential Specialist.
There’s no coincidence when it comes to CRS success. CRS agents must meet stringent education and experience requirements. That’s why only 3% of REALTORS® are Certified Residential Specialists. CRS agents are dedicated professionals. They work to ensure success for their home-buying and selling clients by tapping into their superior training, exceptional professional referral network, and timely and cutting edge industry resources.
Make the Right Choice…Choose Success
CRS agents made the right choice when deciding to become a Certified Residential Specialist. Now it’s your turn. Make your first home-buying or selling decision be to work with a member of the Council of Certified Residential Specialists. Find a CRS in your
Buying a house is nothing like the real estate TV shows. Typically, buyers look at about 10 houses before making a decision—not three. More importantly, there are a myriad of issues that pop up along the way.
It would help to have someone you can trust to help navigate the process. An Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) is your ace in the hole when buying a home.
An ABR® is not just a REALTOR® with a group of letters behind the name: An ABR® is a specialized practitioner who has demonstrated a commitment to working with buyers.
To become an ABR®, a REALTOR® must first show successful completion of five transactions representing the buyer. A REALTOR® also must complete two courses, including the designation’s core course which teaches agents buyer representation, negotiation strategies, and best practices and procedures between contract and closing.
ABRs® are trained to work as hard for the buyer as the listing agent does for the seller. When every dollar of a purchase price counts, it pays to have someone trained to negotiate the price, terms and conditions to your advantage: Only a buyer’s agent can do that for you.
As a home buyer, you should be represented. A buyer’s agent, particularly an ABR®, forms a contractual relationship with a client; it’s the same relationship that a seller has when signing a listing agreement with an agent. Just as the listing agent can’t disclose her seller’s bottom line, an ABR® cannot disclose her client’s maximum.
The Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) symbol is the mark of a real estate professional who has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services by securing a strong educational foundation.
Buying property is a complex and stressful task. In fact, it's often the biggest single investment you will make in your lifetime. At the same time, real estate transactions have become increasingly complicated.
New technology, laws, procedures and the increasing sophistication of buyers and sellers requires real estate practitioners to perform at an ever-increasing level of professionalism.
- Have pursued a course of study that represents the minimum common body of knowledge for progressive real estate professionals.
- Have developed a solid foundation of knowledge and skills to navigate the current real estate climate—no matter what its condition.
- Are recognized nationally.
- Act with professionalism and are committed to serving their clients and customers with the highest ethical standards.
What all of this means is that Rhonda has dedicated herself to being the best she can be at what she does, so that her client will have the very best experience in their home selling and buying. Make the move and call Rhonda first for your next real estate transaction.
